I was on a little vacation in Barcelona for a week and decided to try and do some jumping while abroad. I managed to get the WhatsApp number for the dropzone and talked to them a little bit about logistics. I was able to take a Renfe train from Barcelona to Manresa. The dropzone staff offers free pickup and drop off at the Manresa - Alta train station.
The staff at the dropzone were very nice. Most people spoke very limited English, so knowing at least some Spanish is very helpful. The dz is well organized, with a front office building and separate check in for fun jumpers and tandems. Manifest is on the side of the check in building and the woman working it was very friendly. They also have a small bar on site with drinks and food. The hanger is quite large and there are lockers to keep your stuff safe. Lots of room for packing, and their rental equipment was quite nice. I am 5'2'' and jumping ~170 canopy, and they had a 169 XFire rig that was really nice, and fit me better than any rental gear I've tried at my home DZ. Prices weren't too bad. 30 Euros for a jump, and 18 per jump for the rental. That includes pack job (they don't let you pack it yourself). It took a while to get on a load when I first got there, and then there was a weather delay during the middle of the day. But I was still able to jump 4 times, with my first jump around noon. I would recommend this DZ. Instructors are friendly, and all the rest of the staff is very friendly and helpful. Local fun jumpers were also very nice and inclusive!

As a skydiver, we are always looking for new places to jump, new people to meet and new challenges to achieve, in SkydiveBCN, you'll find everything and more.

Starting whit the location; The dropzone is situated 30 minutes from Barcelona city, in Manresa. You have a variety of option for getting to the DZ.
TRAIN: You can get by RENFE R4 destination MANRESA (the national railroad) or with FGC (Catalan Railroads) destination MANRESA, both of them can be taken in Barcelona city. When you arrive, just call to the office, the have this free service of picking you up in any train station in Manresa, AWESOME.

You can get by car, just 30 minutes from BCN!

Very good prices, coaches, instructor and staff, you will fell like in your home DZ or even better, they have 2 Pilatus Porter, perfect combination, to always keep skydivers in the sky.. in summer you get 12 hours of jumping, the whole day!! Organized manifest, you won't have any problem getting in the load that you want (talk to manifest with time, always be good with your manifest team)

Lots of rental material, for new jumpers or just for those who forgot to bring their equipment (PAIN!), different rigs for rental, in perfect condition and in different canopy size, rigger job if you need it and fast packers if you wanna do any back to back jump.
You have plenty of landing area, and lot of free hazard zone to land if you can't get to the landing zone

Theres shop, if you need material (rubber bands, pack tools, gloves, helmets, etc.)

Wingsuit, tracksuit, freeflyers, RW teams, all skydivers allowed.

The installations are very good, theres a bar…well not just a normal bar, is BEON1 bar, one of the best skydiver bar I've ever visit in years..
You can enjoy those after jumping sunset at BEON1 taking a cold beer, or in summer, enjoy the swimming pool with a great view of Montserrat mountain.

Feel free to come and enjoy,
FLY SAFE!

Went here on a recommendation that with low wind I'd get 2 days jumping in because Empuriabrava was suffering from high winds. Run by Alain (who also works as an instructor in the wind tunnel in Empuriabrava) who is an amazing professional and likable person and Arial.
Did my first 6 jumps here on AFF course, all organised by Alain who sorted out instructors and accommodation in Alp.
The DZ has access to a restaurant and cafe which has free wireless internet, as well as a swimming pool for those of you who have to drag the better halfs along.
DZ is located in farm lands with loads of space for those like me learning are likely to miss and land in the next field...loads of places to land in total safety.
Top marks. I think this could well be a better alternative to some other DZ's in the area.
Thanks to all the guys there who made this an amazing experience.
