This DZ had recently opened and was putting 16 loads a day, mainly tandems. There were a few fun jumpers and students knocking around.

Pretty easy to get on a load and find someone to jump with (I was from out of town). They have rental gear which is also in pretty good condition.

They do lifts up to 18k and 24k with oxygen *however* it's 18k above MSL rather than AGL so we actually got just under 17k but still not bad for $32. You just need to be aware of this, that's all.

Other than that, the vibe is good, it's very busy so the facilities were a little cramped but that just means business is good.

After an unfortunate 2 year layoff, the folks at Westside got me back in the air. Their training methods are very good, the instructors make certain you understand not just the what but the why, also! Everyone from manifest to the instructors to the packers to the riggers are great. Can't wait to get out there again.

They took my mother on a tandem and we got to ride along as fun jumpers! Great atmosphere and spectacular views! This is a great place to jump and this is only their first year. Can't wait to see how they grow in 5! Keep up the good work Joe!

I made two jumps this morning at WestSide and had an amazing time! Joe, the owner, was very professional and safe. His staff was friendly and the views from altitude were awesome! The whole crew at WestSide made us feel welcome...felt like our home dropzone. Highly recommend WestSide if you're in the area!

Baldwin is a top notch DZ, but the drive out there is a royal pain. Glad we now have something on the west side. Great drive out, found the staff to be friendly and fun, and loved the views of the lake while under canopy (while in free fall who knows - I'm too busy playing to pay attn).

I jumped for the first time today. From the moment I arrived to the place, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They made me feel safe at all times, in an incredible experience. I can't believe I waited so long to do it.
