mccordia 74 #1 November 24, 2011 Id like to share a new video I uploaded to Vimeo Not a lot of footage. In fact the whole 3 minute video technically only took about 12 to 14 seconds of recording time. But due to modern technology, the result is some of the smoothest slow-motion Ive ever seen! Shot at 1000 fps Enjoy!JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
granpasc 0 #2 November 25, 2011 Sorry but if this video is technically interesting, you don't put on any good idea after. Like that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7TugC-7gf8 Or that (one footage, one idea) : http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xj0oja_surf-chris-bryan-films-phantom-reel_sport Remember after Avatar how all 3D movies have been criticized... the technique must serve the art
mccordia 74 #3 November 25, 2011 The video was shot with the intent of making a short item out of it. Yes, the technology is an awesome factor, but (at least to me) the subject is what it was all about... JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

The quality difference is steak and chewing gum. The other link you posted is a promo puff piece for the phantom. Think of Jarno's piece as a puff piece for the Y5 if you'd rather. Electronaut 0 #6 November 26, 2011 Very evident at 11 seconds in on that Youtube link, you can see pure blur on the planes prop. granpasc, the camera that was being used for this was very high-end kit that required a laptop and ideally a 3 man team (though, our shooter, Ciamac, was good enough he did it himself).Jarno chewed me out for wearing my helmet while getting on the plane.
