DSE 5 #2 May 25, 2012 in terms of safety/pull time; they're identical. The P2 has grippers, the Shadow does not. However, both are suitable for getting started and use as a primary suit regardless of skill level.
voilsb 1 #3 May 25, 2012 I'm close to the same size, but I've never jumped a shadow. my p2 is a great suit however, and I'll buy another phantom before i buy a vampire ...Brian
Zeemax 0 #4 May 25, 2012 Whereabouts are you based? You've said 'mates' which makes me think either UK or Aus. If it's UK, give me a shout and if you're anywhere near Sibson, pop in and i'll talk you through the suits. mccordia 74 #6 May 27, 2012 Phantom 3 Shadow 2 Alter between the two images, and you'll see that the difference is marginal. Performance-wise its mostly a different body position and slightly different inputs needed to fly (more suitable for acrobatics, but also easier for people not used to flying grippers, so more comparable to a normal tracking). Either suit is a good choice, its just the tuning options...JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
