dracothraxus 0 #1 May 30, 2012 Hi everyone, Trying to track down a graph of altitude versus horizontal distance travelled (and preferably also velocities) for a straightforward wingsuit base jump. I can't find one anywhere using Google, hoping you can help me out. Something like this http://www.novatel.com/assets/wingsuit/wwhd-graph-3.gif except for a wingsuit base jump and preferably with horizontal distance on the x-axis. It's for a novel so will give credit to anyone who can help me out. Alternatively, if anyone can give me some rough numbers for the vertical distance fallen / fall time for a base wingsuit jump before you can get close to those 2 to 2.5 glide ratios (as opposed to jumping out of a plane already with a significant velocity). Thanks, Michael
LukeH 0 #2 May 30, 2012 Roughly 10-15 seconds to get to 2-2.5 GR from standing start. Distance fallen with vary greatly, but 220m - 270m is the right ballpark.

drunk 0 #5 May 31, 2012 Apex FOX 265 loaded at ~0.7. You realize the graph is from a WS BASE jump, right?
