Dagny 0 #27 December 12, 2003 Oh, Denise...AWESOME job on your helmet! I remember talking with you and Kate about how sharp your white helmet looked, but that yellow is kickin'! Now I want to put my name on my helmet....how sweet would that be? Tell you what, I'll buy some beer in trade for your freehand skills....or just a few good suggestions, deal? Sweet helmet! sunnydee123 0 #32 December 15, 2003 Well I must say - although I was very happy with the finished product...helmet turned out great...when I got the DZ and put on my suit - the yellows did not match . UGH....everyone DID comment on the "new" helmet and then I got to tell how I just painted it and then everyone did the "look up close" thingy...... Not sure what to do now....maybe find another yellow and repaint - maybe just leave it alone. Who knows.......But regardless, I DEFINITELY need a clear top coat for strength. I seem to be hard on my stuff and already got a couple nicks.....oh well....... Thanks Dagny...missed ya this weekend. And Angela - hope to see you soon for sure. Now that you are pushing 100 jumps Almost Christmas time, almost time for Eloy and almost time to turn 35...yikes! But at least I am a cool freeflying skydiver chick Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...
SkydiveNFlorida 0 #33 December 15, 2003 :( Was it that noticible? At least now you know hot to paint it... and it isn't too expensive. Maybe next time paint the yellow on something else white and see what color it dries first, before going through all the trouble. Good luck, girly!! You're turning 35? ! Well, you're only as old as you feel. You look very young, like maybe 28, so that is good! :D Awesome! See you soon! Have fun in Eloy, take lotsa pix! Angela. JWVB 0 #34 December 16, 2003 Quotethe yellows did not match Maybe if you leave your helmet out in the sun for a couple days, it will fade to match your jumpsuit
