mccordia 74 #4 January 8, 2014 Though not the only reason, I have noticed that 9 out of 10 people with bridle knots and pilot chute/bridle entanglements are due to heavy hackey balls with single point attachments (easily hooking the bridle behind it). So not a fan of hackey balls. Both for a more secure fix during backflying/collisions and also due to more secure placement of the handle inside the airplane when moving about, 100% promoter of freefly puds for wingsuit jumps (handle design does differ and makes some nicer than others, and making sure its not one with a single point attachment or bit of string/bridle between the handle is important). *edited to add* PVC tube, though less secure in the plane, and as long as its a double point/tight attachment to the PC, is a good second.JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? murf62 0 #10 January 10, 2014 Yep, definately tape the ends of your PVC. I've had to shake one off a gloved finger.
DSE 5 #11 January 10, 2014 wine bottle corks make excellent filler without adding much weight.
splat123 0 #12 January 12, 2014 Pud, but don't really like it with winter gloves on. VERY secure, I don't tuck tab into pocket as can almost swing container about by pud if tab in its pocket.
ifell 0 #13 January 12, 2014 Pretty pleased with the results of the wine cork, fits nice and snug and doesn't require tape/glue ::PVC tube was standard Mirage issue when I ordered the rig with wingsuit options
