Fordy 0 #1 June 25, 2014 Flew my apache with a buddy last week and fitted my Scala G9 motorcycle communication system to both our cookie G-3's. I think we both agreed after a couple of jumps it was the most sociable skydiving we had ever done. Crystal clear with voice activation (vox) we have each other heads up where we were heading and when we were going to make direction changes without any interference or misunderstanding. Would be a superb asset to a WS course for first flights Tex to help with body position and basic navigation. Lots of fun, thought I'd share Regards Fordy

DSE 5 #8 June 27, 2014 WickedWingsuits I think it sounds great for coaching and team work but the last thing I want on most of my wingsuit flights is to be sociable! It's outstanding for team work, but for coaching, we've found it to be a distraction unless the student knows the commands (and is trained in the commands) in advance. One word commands work well in the right circumstances, sentences do not. Ed Pawlowski, Avery Badenhop were the first to attempt this, I believe, about 7 years ago... we had a 20+ way group with the camera slot calling the formation changes. maxtreme 0 #10 July 2, 2014 we used those on XRW jump just to timing exits, I also informed canopypilot about distance while approching behind. i used open face helmet so pading earphones were more like useless to me. maybe fixing earplug headphones would be better for me. adamUK 3 #11 July 18, 2014 Did you mount these on the inside of your G3 or the outside? I'm thinking of also using some form of comms for the tunnel and it'd have to be held within the helmet for tunnel use. Cheers Adam.

strife 0 #13 July 26, 2014 Im going to try out the Sena 20s this seems like an interesting add on as well http://www.motorcycleracegear.com.au/sena-bluetooth-pack-for-gopro.html
strife 0 #14 July 29, 2014 here is the Sena 20s on a G3 seems like its the same profile as a Sony AS or Contour, really nice quality. With all the features (FM radio, phone etc) I can see how it could become a distraction. It has a screw clamp and I have added some in industrial velcro https://scontent-a-lax.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpa1/10514476_820229311355180_2592741712627714042_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xfp1/t1.0-9/q74/s720x720/10422363_820229331355178_6804375011915626258_n.jpg the sena BT audio adapter arrives today, I think thats a cool feature but again mindful of the distraction factor. chemist 0 #16 April 11, 2015 anyone tried a microphone with an open face helmet? For those of us who don't want to get whole new helmet setup for bluetooth..... I got motocycle speakers in already which work good for music. I seen videos of guys with mics on open faces but no way of knowing how well it works since the video didn't include sound from it also anyone know any iPhone apps that can connect to non-iPhone bluetooth systems? Then all I'd need is the microphone to be set. I am imagine the bluetooth on the 6/6+ must have a pretty good range and reliability by now
