hjumper33 0 #3 November 10, 2015 Are you asking about the company squirrel and their specific color of silver, or just silver material in general? Ive only seen the mega shiny silver in Dougg's video on PF and S3 era birdman suits, but im sure anyone can make a suit out of it. Its damn shiny
mccordia 74 #4 November 10, 2015 The silver seen on Douggs suit was a heavy coated parapak. But the last few years PF has been using a silver UltraLight fabric for its team suits, thats also available to customers. See picture It looks incredible in flight when the sunlight hits it. WickedWingsuits 0 #5 November 10, 2015 The Firebirds of that era have silver wings, at least the ones I have flown/seen. Not sure how well that material would pressurize on a modern suit.Summer Rental special, 5 weeks for the price of 4! That is $160 a month. kleggo 145 #8 November 10, 2015 llloydThe hills are alive... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lU-5YEMOvEI Thanks for this linky. I am specifically looking to see what Squirrel's silver looks like. Possibly as a less likely to stain option to white. Cheers Craig
mccordia 74 #9 November 10, 2015 The silver on the old birdman suits was more like a rubbery silverpaint coating on F111. Some of the newer fabrics used by various manufacturers now looks more like actual tinfoil/alluminium..JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
kleggo 145 #10 November 11, 2015 Thanks to those that PM'd photo's. Squirrel silver is what most of us would probably consider light grey. Cheers Craig
