frontloop33 1 #1 May 24, 2017 Hi, I've read many times, that you can't use a freefly-legstrap-bungee on your gear when you want to fly a wingsuit. I've never tried/worn a wingsuit, so can somebody please explain, why's that? Just by looking at my gear with the legstrap-bungee, I just can't imagine where the problem might be. johnmatrix 21 #2 May 24, 2017 You need to take it off to thread the legstraps into each side of the suit.
BryanCampau 0 #3 May 24, 2017 Yep, what he said. People who do both will attach an s clip so they can quickly undo the bungee for when they put the wingsuit on the rig.

Baxter99 0 #6 May 25, 2017 I use a Swedish link (RSL shackle). Works great.
GoneCodFishing 24 #7 May 25, 2017 Mini-maillon (the tiny ones, not the #5) or a key-ring works great
Anachronist 2 #8 May 31, 2017 make one half a bungee with a figure 8 tied on both ends, make the other half out of a long closing loop, slink, line, whatever as long as it has a loop on one end, then use the loop to make a larks behind the figure 8 on the bungee, no clip needed. lyosha 50 #9 May 31, 2017 Can you post a picture? I can't quite visualize how you could make a lark's head in that situation...

Anachronist 2 #11 June 10, 2017 Here ya go. I didn't have any bungee handy so I used some junk rope. The figure 8 on the "bungee" makes a bigger knot than a simple overhand, it also doesn't capsize as easily and actually sticks in bungee pretty well. The other bit is a closing loop. I found that making the bungee about 80% of the total length works well. If you go half and half you don't get much stretch, just depends on how you want it and how your rig fits though. RMK 3 #12 June 10, 2017 Here's a prior thread on the issue: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=2750316;search_string=bungee;#2750316 Post #20 shows my setup which is soft/cheap/fast and I'm still using years later"Pain is the best instructor, but no one wants to attend his classes"
skow 6 #13 June 19, 2017 Thanks! This seems like a simple and easy solution
