I would be careful of looping the break cord too loosely. If you don't snug the loop of break cord up tight, it will "snap" and shock load the break cord before the canopy reaches line stretch. This could potentially result in premature breakage.

Basically, make sure that no matter how you illustrate your knot on the internet, when you tie it, make it tight against itself, to guard against premature breakage.

Could you post a pic of whar you mean?
i guess i got it right,but not sure..

personaly i use a 2.breakcord as a back up,just abit longer so you dont get double force to break it.
