wzettler 0 #1 September 24, 2003 Is there a website where jumper's names and their BASE number might be? I am just curious to view them if there is. Thanks I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.
Treejumps 0 #2 September 24, 2003 No, there is no public listing of BASE numbers and their holder's. Many jumpers prefer to stay anonymous.

wzettler 0 #4 September 25, 2003 Yeah, I knew that many like to remain anonymous, I was just curious as to what the numbers were up to really. Thanks. I think when Jesus said "love your enemy" he probably meant don't kill them.

TomAiello 26 #9 September 25, 2003 Quotejust thinking.. were the F##k do you get a night cliff BASE.. You certainly do live in Europe, don't you? I've probably made more night than day cliff jumps. Many of the U.S.'s best big walls are done primarily as night jumps, since they are on land where the government would prefer not to see us jumping.-- Tom Aiello Tom@SnakeRiverBASE.com SnakeRiverBASE.com
Faber 0 #10 September 25, 2003 QuoteYou certainly do live in Europe, don't you? I've probably made more night than day cliff jumps. hmm think i were thinking another way, that if its a legal place then it mioght not good to jump it at night, unless you get the promission. As im still a newbie, and mostly does slider off jumps,i dont know much about cliffs around here.... I better start learning then Quote.........since they are on land where the government would prefer not to see us jumping. hmm always the same bad boy.. wilmshurst 0 #13 September 29, 2003 What would be an estimate for the number of BASE numbers currently issued annually (that is, over a 12 month period)? How long before BASE 1000 goes?? base689 0 #14 September 29, 2003 >What would be an estimate for the number of BASE numbers currently issued annually (that is, over a 12 month period)? How long before BASE 1000 goes?? In the latest 2 years, there have been an average of 6 BASE jumpers completing the word B.A.S.E. every month. Now (Sep 2003) we are at about BASE #850, with 150 left to 1000, at a rate of 6/month, in 25 months from now there should be a bloke/doll whose number will be BASE #1000, that would be roughly in October 2005. I think it's traditional to send them a letter with a $5-10 donation detailing the dates and times of your four qualifying objects. They work on a voluntary basis.
