riggersam 1 #1 October 23, 2003 What hotel are you using? Any recommendations?
Spiderbaby 0 #2 October 23, 2003 I have always had the best luck at a place called "The Bowen". It's totally obvious in the middle of town on Main street and they are especially cool with dogs, and they don't care how many folks you cram into a room if low budgets are your thing. The "Moab Valley Inn" is also great. Pool, hotub and decent indoor packing. South End of town on the left This is probably gonna be where you'll find a lot of jumpers. It's the preferred choice of the Colorado Crew, though not as dog friendly as the Bowen Hotel. Hope this helps."It takes a big man to cry, it takes an even bigger man to make that big man cry"

base598mn 0 #4 October 25, 2003 Sam, My favorite is still the Lazy Lizard Hostel. Especially if you have a group of 10 or so. You can find info on it if you do a search on dogpile.com. Basically its about $9 a night, depending on what building/room you are in. There is either a kitchen in your room or a common one to share. Also, they like BASE jumpers and don't mind you packing on the grass or in your dorms. My recommendation is the unit they call "The Casa." It doesn't have a tailgate but it a 5+ bedroom house that kind of feels like home (if home is a 70's style hippy house). Have fun, I might see you there. Just got back from Moab and can't wait to return.
