Looks like it would offer some chin and face protection with out covering your mouth. I'd like one for skydiving and situations where I might be subject to an occasional kick to the had or chin, or a bump against a door frame on exit. Face and jaw protection but still have the ability to talk and people can hear you with it on. For those times like,"Don't jump, there is a car coming" type things. And use of two way radios.
