Twoply 0 #1 February 15, 2005 I'm looking to go to the big S there this summer and wonder if there's some kind of boogie/ party happening on some date that I should shoot for. My schedule is wide open and hooking up with some other freaks always makes a trip worthwhile. PM's or e mail at Lowleaper@yahoo.com Mike

TomAiello 26 #5 February 16, 2005 Quotememorial day is a fun time with all the gear makers there and a great bunch of folks Yeah, but it's freakin' windy. Spring is the windy season here. Fall is the best season for lots of jumping. I still can't figure out why everyone shows up for Memorial Day, but only a fraction as many are here on Labor Day, which invariably has better conditions.-- Tom Aiello Tom@SnakeRiverBASE.com SnakeRiverBASE.com
DexterBase 1 #6 February 16, 2005 I remember one particularly windy jump I made last Labor Day weekend. Tom, I believe your exact words were: "Well, it's your life. More importantly, it's your ankles." It can be very windy on Labor Day weekend. At any rate, barring war with Iran or N. Korea, I plan to be in TF for both Memorial Day and Labor day this year. pBASEtobe 0 #7 February 16, 2005 Quote...I plan to be in TF for both Memorial Day and Labor day this year. For me it should read, "Barring the DoD's (Department of Defense) actual budget being what Bush has proposed, I plan to be in TF for both Memorial Day and Labor Day this year." Damn government jobs! Ah, what the hell, I'll be there no matter what! Look forward to seeing you again!
