Stiletto reline

I am currently getting a reline on my Stiletto 97 and was wondering if there is a big difference between the
550 and 825 microline as far as longevity is concerned? The canopy currently has 825 line.

550 will go out of trim much quicker then the 825 will. My Jedei was showing wear on its 550 with in 100 jumps.

825 micro-line will still be structurally sound after 800, however it will be a long way out of trim by then.
I expect 825 micro-lines to last 400, maybe 600 jumps.

Ya I had my lower control lines lengthened about 4 inches and my brakes were still too short, I think my canopy has just over 900 jumps on it so Im due for a new set.

I usually recommend 550 replaced after 300 - 400 jumps and 825 after 500 - 600 jumps.

I have had both on my 97 and I actually like 825 better. It might be in my head, but it seems like the openings were on heading more often.

I picked 825 for my 89.

I just relined a Stiletto 107 and chose 825, largely due to trim and wear on the 550 line.

550 is also more likely to snag a grommet - although that's not a line choice issue - but a gear maintenance one.

I've felt no difference in performance, dispite "all the extra drag" 825 has over 550.
