tfelber 0 #1 March 23, 2005 Thanks Tom for a great FJC and exceptional hospitality!!! At the time, I thought jumping out of a tree to practice exits was a little much, but it did certainly take the edge off.Even though the weather was not that cooperative, I had a great time, learned a lot, and got in 6 incredible jumps. hookitt 1 #2 March 23, 2005 You got to jump from a tree!!! The TomA Pendulator is in full affect? That's so cool! I can't wait to see it in action. Congratulations on your first jumps. Stay safe TimMy grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

lifewithoutanet 0 #7 March 23, 2005 50 ft? Hang on...let us get the cameras rolling. I was thinking something in the static-line range at least. -C.
Zennie 0 #8 March 23, 2005 Just out of curiosity, how hard would it be to practice aerials from the pendulator? - Z "Always be yourself... unless you suck." - Joss Whedon
leroydb 0 #9 March 23, 2005 Uh I dont think you are to speed on this... Tom has a training device. YOu are up a decent height (?) and jump out of the tree. I believe you are connected to 2 ropes. This allows the instructor to evaluate your body postion... tom correct me if wrong... leroydb 0 #11 March 23, 2005 hey now... its not a joke! I want my own... just have to pose as a new upand coming cell tower owner and get the bank to pay for one, and the cell companies to put some antennas on it and let them pay the bill... added a smileyLeroy ..I knew I was an unwanted baby when I saw my bath toys were a toaster and a radio... TomAiello 26 #12 March 24, 2005 Quote Just out of curiosity, how hard would it be to practice aerials from the pendulator? You'd need two side by side pendulators, and some kind of spinning harness (like divers use to train). THen, it would be pretty easy.-- Tom Aiello Tom@SnakeRiverBASE.com SnakeRiverBASE.com
leroydb 0 #13 March 24, 2005 would you be willing to describe the design so others would be able to construct their own??Leroy ..I knew I was an unwanted baby when I saw my bath toys were a toaster and a radio...
Bennii 0 #14 March 24, 2005 Quote Just out of curiosity, how hard would it be to practice aerials from the pendulator? I did front and backflip in pendulator Ronny made for party in Stavanger 2 years ago, you have to keep your hands close to your body so you will not get nasty burn on your hands like i did Benjamín
