QuickDraw 0 #6 April 23, 2005 Nice video. Loved that sketchy waterfall landing area too. Also found that wallstrike interesting too, was that opening fast or is it just me ? I noticed the slider was up, but it still looked fast, also was the recovery down to skill or just plain luck ? the canopy collapses after impact, appears to fold upside down, and I can't tell if it's front or rear risered away from the wall or just the pendulum effect. It's good from my point of view to see how fast a shitty situation can happen though. Glad you all got home in one piece and thanks for sharing. -- Hope you don't die. -- I'm fucking winning

basehoundsam 0 #9 April 23, 2005 Avery and Damian ..... ILLLLLLLL I personally consider that object to be the most technical (in all regards) that I have personally jumped. Jay Epstein Ramirez www.adrenalineexploits.com
basehoundsam 0 #10 April 23, 2005 He actually end up with a refrigerator size rock in the nose of his canopy that falls out at the last second. The "falling out" of the boulder turns his canopy around and sets him free. The jumper landed in the center of the landing area with a sprang ankle and dislocated big toe. leroydb 0 #11 April 23, 2005 Quote dislocated big toe BTW I know form experiance that hurts! well it was my pinky toe... but none the lessLeroy ..I knew I was an unwanted baby when I saw my bath toys were a toaster and a radio...

badenhop 0 #13 April 24, 2005 Hello, Three cheers for Jay and his crew. On a scale of one to ten, the El Gigante trip is a solid eleven. Imagine......... At first light, you roll out of bed, into your rig. 50 paces from your bed is a helicopter. On the helicopter are fresh hot breakfast burritos. Time it takes to eat a burrito = three minutes. Flight time to the exit point = three minutes. When all the rigs are rightiously unpacked, you fly back to the ranch. Or if you feel the need, save one pack-job for a jump into the ranch. Then it is lunchtime. 5 star meals. The afternoon is for siesta, packing, telling lies. Then dinner. 5 star. No electricity (no problem) so bedtime is early. Did I mention that this goes on for days and days? Disclaimer: low experience level jumpers need not apply. This is a very demanding site, you gotta have it ALL going on. Bring a sense of humor, you will need it, Mexico is a soup sandwich.================================== I've got all I need, Jesus and gravity.
