BASE813 0 #1 April 24, 2005 I recently received a message from BASE#812 who told me that "I got in the way" of him and his jumping buddie on getting numbers together. I then sent a reply to him saying infact he actually got in the way of me and my jumping buddie getting numbers together...... we all had a day apart in getting our numbers....... My friend - BASE#811 him - BASE#812 Me - BASE#813 his friend - BASE#814 I found this quite interesting, and the fact that sections of numbers have some story about them, even when we dont know each other! I know that people have sections of numbers that show friends jumping together and achieving the "WORD" at the same time, so I would be interested in hearing stories on how you guys gained this special word together to end up with close numbers............ I actually find it cool that I have found the 2 people "either side" of me and my friend... It was nice to hear.............. Nice work 812 and 814!
truckerbase 0 #2 April 25, 2005 I call numbers right next to eachother "twin base" as these folks were "born" into history at the same time as you. Sadly, all my twinbasers are out of the sport now. Im all alone in the world. Of course, there are other mathematical ways of grouping base numbers singularly. For example, what your base number adds up to (1 number). My number Base 758 adds up to 20. Only a limited number of people fall into this sub-category (like 659). I call these folks cousins, and so, am not so lonely after all. eb66to77 0 #3 April 25, 2005 My wife is BASE 860 and I am BASE 861. I called Joy and she said there were a lot of numbers to process at the time and we might not get them together since there was a gap on our qual jumps. We did though. I have a couple buddies that are one number apart also.
vesatoro 0 #4 April 25, 2005 I have #845 and my friend #844. We both jumped the very same objects for the letters and in the same order S, B, E, A. I jumped all other objects first (with few minutes time difference) except the A which he jumped first. So his number is one lower than mine. Nice to see you))) I complete my word (O, A, B, S)with "E" in April 2003. But I wasn't in a hurry and was waiting for the time I could ask for NightBASE#. That's the number I really wanted to get. I complete it (B,A,S) in November 2004 with "E" also. But I cannot remember the dates when I applied for BASE##. That's the way I got my #846 and #139. NickDG 23 #8 April 25, 2005 I would have been BASE 193, but the fellow I was with didn't feel up to freefalling the object and I had to hold his direct bag . . . BTW, does anyone know who BASE 195 is? It's always been a blank on my un-official list. NickD BASE194

riggersam 1 #11 April 25, 2005 397, 398 and 399 were acquired by a 3-way from a large "B". Since they exited at the same time, Jean issued the numbers in the order that they opened. Mark BASE
base515 0 #12 April 25, 2005 Me and my friend got consecutive numbers. I got the lower number because he didn't want to do the 135ft cliff first. He has since retired, with close to 400jumps and no injuries. Now he just plays with machine guns :) May we live long and die out

460 0 #19 April 26, 2005 600' E in Sept 92. Some more cliffs in 1993. Got active in 1994. Got some antennas. First building jump was a control tower at an active international airport in the US. Other building jumps followed. A couple years later, I finally got my S at Bridge Day 96 on my 100th jump, to complete the BASE cycle, earning BASE 460. First jumper to go off at the Bridge Day event.Looks like a death sandwich without the bread - Steve Deadman Morrell, BASE

BASE864 0 #21 April 27, 2005 Numbers 864 and 865 were given out 11/2003 after the qualifying B jump. We both had the same object order (S, A, E) and I volunteered to exit the B first, so I got the lower number. Also on the load was 867 who qualifed for his number with an E a couple of weeks later at the Turkey boogie. If memory serves me correctly, that B is responsible for several 1st B jumps - all in a one week span. QuoteOf course, there are other mathematical ways of grouping base numbers singularly. For example, what your base number adds up to (1 number). And DT/Chicken Man (954) - looks like you're my cousin as your number adds up to 18 too! .
