NvertigoX or Mindwarp

Recommended Posts

Bonehead Optic. Already has a chin cup, already has a good mounting surface for a camera.

Get back down to Aggieland, we have a couple in the case you can try on, same for Mindwarp, so you can get the fit right and see if you like them.

Amen to that. I've got a Mindwarp for my camera helmet and it was a pain in the ass to get everything right on it. Plus, by the time I got the chincup and top mount for it I was into it more than if I'd bought the Optik in the first place. Learned my lesson. Besides, the Optik has flat mounts for both side and top mounts, so if you ever want to go top mount, it's ready. It's like Dave said, by the time you get the chincup for the Mindwarp, it's already better to get the Optik.

I'll agree with the Optik choice, especially since it gives you still, flash mounting options. The GK tandem section uses them and they put a TON of stuff on them.
Another helmet I'd recommend is the ADI Hawkeye. Also comes with a chin-cup and I think it is the best looking of the helmets

As Koz pointed out. The Golden Knights are jumping the Optiks here and they have just about every thing you would want short of going to a flat top series helmet. If you just want to get fun jumps of your friends and aren't thinking about going serious or top mount a Mindwarp with a D box may be what your more comfortable with.
