Black Jack or Flick?

thanks, I figured as much.

What did you think about its opening characteristics? Did the heading performance improve, even a little?

Appreciate the reply

I didn't have any heading performance issues on any of my canopies. However that's not to say there weren't any on some of the canopies. All the other manufacturers have made minor changes through the years as well.

To the best of my knowledge, the minor change has made a good difference. One person I jump with had some trouble with his Ace, After the location of the brake lines was upgraded, he's had no troubles.

My Ex-Ace 240 is in the hands of a Florida jumper who regularly puts it in the 4 -7 second range. His direct quote "That thing is an on heading machine"!!! Last I talked to him, it was still set up with the original configuration.

If anyone has the original set up, I recomend the upgrade.

I still have the ACE 240 in the original steering line configration and it is still an on-heading machine!

I have a BJ 240 and I was content jumping the old configuration.

I stopped by the Asylum shop to say hello and Marty did the mod on the spot. I figure if Marty thinks it's a good idea, then it probably is.

We'll see if I notice any trend differences.
