JUMPSUITS- What's the difference?

Recommended Posts

Different jumpsuits for different kinds of jumping. Different material for different kinds of people, trying to achieve a certain fall rate.

Your best bet is to go to your DZ, talk to the S&TA or one of your current or former instructors about what you should get. They can help you choose what kind of suit and what options would be best for you and what you need.

Dress for success and you will succeed.B|

Well, I went to your profile to see what kind of jumping you're into and to see how many jumps you have, but I didn't get many answers there.

What kind of jumping do you plan on doing?
How many jumps do you have?

Reason I ask that, is cause then deciding on the type of jumpsuit will narrow down some of the advise I'll give you.

Both AggieDave and Mary have given good info. But I'd avoid the sit-fly suit if I were you (assuming you are into freeflying). You don't want to become dependent on a suit in order to learn how to sit and the same result can be achieved through the use of a baggy sweatshirt and tight cuffs on your pants (in terms of learning how to sit).

Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
