Any women with this experience?

Recommended Posts

I expect this to be moved to the women's forum; I did a search and didn't find what I was looking for.

Are there any BASE women out there that have had breast augmentation surgery? Thanks to that damned dog I now have the funds to buy myself a nice rack (that I've wanted since I was 16 and all my friends were buying bras...and I'm still waiting!) but I'm concerned about slider off openings and the possible problems that could occur. I spoke with a surgeon today who had no idea about parachuting and especially harness configurations.

I have many friends that are climbers and skydivers that have had no ill effects from this procedure, and all of them are completely thrilled with the new bundles of joy on their chests. But I don't know if I know any BASE jumping women who have had it done.

If I had to make a choice between BASE and BOOBS...well, at the rate I've been jumping (nil) and the amount of lovin' I've been getting (heaps), the BOOBS would actually make me happier right now. But I don't intend to retire from BASE yet, I still have 2 sets of gear and one with only 10 jumps on it!

I'm not so worried about the really low jumps or the really high ones, it's the ones in between and the occasional extra hard opening for no apparent reason.

Ok, so that's my question, and Tom please move this to the women's forum if you like AFTER some of the BASE babes have had a chance to see this post and offer me the benefit of their experience.

Thanks to DZ.com for the forums and a place to get information about any topic under the sun!

Peace,
K

Nick DG, if I get a rack will I be a 10 again in your book? Maybe the boobs will make up for the missing finger tip?

Why not accept who you are instead. If you want a pair of tits to play with, get a girlfriend. Seriously people, dont waste time altering yourself.

Karen, get a girlfriend, or too or three! Then get a kiddie pool and a lot of warm oils. Then call me immediately.

I do accept myself for who I am, and I do have three girlfriends. Unfortunately, their nice boobs (bought and paid for on two of them) don't do a thing to help me find bras that fit. You try finding a 38A bra! It's like a guy trying to find a condom 1 inch long but 8 inches around.

And the boobs are for my man to play with, not me. I'd rather him play with mine than hers (most of the time). And NO he's not asking me to do this! He is supportive of what I choose either way.

You must be well endowed or you'd understand the feeling of waiting for something nice to develop and to never have it happen. I love bikinis and halter tops and would be so happy to see them actually fit right.

Thanks for the try, Abbie, but your shot missed the mark.

Peace,
K

Hi, I have the exact opposite problem and have been wanting a reduction. I would love to transfer a few cup sizes to you. How much more do you really want..to deal with? I got double D's and from many pro riggers' advice for the CHEST strap is always "whatever feels comfortable". I always gotta keep the strap a bit loose just in case and that's for skydiving and base. I definetly recommend for base to keep it "flexable" from my personal experience. As far as giving your boyfriend some more to play with....you won't even feel much of it. The sense of feel will never be the same.Another words less. I have done alot of research on this and got alot of input from people in the whole medical field as I was a medical transporter. Just my input. To each it's own.***is it dark yet?
is it dark yet

Years ago I met a couple of women on the airshow circuit who were wing walkers. You know, the ones standing on top af a Stearman doing loops and that stuff. Man, were they hating gravity. Their boobs were down around their belt buckles. Good thing they could joke about it.

Who was it said..." Anything over a mouthful is wasted."?

o.k., guys probably won't understand. men's fashion generally does not put our package on display. we don't shop for underwear with just the right fit. and really, most men probably can't compare sizes...

with that out of the way, I basically know you from your posts. you strike me as an caring, intelligent, and articulate woman. that places you far above average.

it's like standing on the edge. I don't really know what's going on in your skull. I won't tell you to jump. it's your call.

If your chest strap is too tight and you normally sit low in your harness when under canopy, you're really going to know about it if you have a hard opening. ie read double masectomy B|

edited to add: my BASE experience is pretty damned limited, but I've been jumping for eight years and am a natural D cup.:$
