It took place at Lahti, Finland on 25.10-2005. Engines were started at the "launching ramp" of the hot air balloon. Launching altitude was 2200 meters. Shortly after the exit I gave the full throttle and started to gain groundspeed rapidly. Only 200 meters lower, at altitude of 2000 meters i were able to keep the flightlevel. I continued Flying at 2000m and were loosing altitude wery slowly mostly because of trying diffrent flyingpositions. When attempting to gain some more altitude it caused the loss of forward speed and stalled. After that I continued flying approx 2 min untill run out of kerosine. I opened the parachute at 1500-1600m. The controll of the flight were smooth and easy. Too much physical strenght was not needed either. Whats most important it was GREAT FUN. It seems that the power output is just enough but does not have any reserve to use. I am positive that lighter flyer would be able to gain more altitude.
