Interested in old bridge day video?

I have a nice video I got from TomBuch on Bridge Day '83. I guess it was on tv at one time.

If anyone shows intrest I will compress it and through it on skydivingmovies.com.

I asked tom and he said put it where ever but i figured I would ask first.

That was a short delay (3sec) but a very long pc hesitation (canopy out at 8.5seconds) and what looks like a reserve deployment at the same time as the main deploys.

I'm guessing he either had a standard skydiving pilot chute or a short bridle. 100ft less altitude and he'd have been dead.

But then he learned the hard way so we don't have to.

This jumper was Rick Costa from upstate NY. I think he had the record for low deployment for quite a while after this jump. I attended my first bridge day the year after with about 100 skydives and was told to not hold the pilot chute in your hands all day while waiting to jump. It seems that the combination of a small PC and sweat don't make them work to well Nice form though!
