JSBIRD 1 #2 March 18, 2006 I was 33, and the event was NRGBD 1986. I guess that means I'll celebrate 20 years of BASE on the second Saturday of October. 359"Now I've settled down, in a quiet little town, and forgot about everything"

dmcoco84 5 #4 March 18, 2006 I was 20. BD 04. Would have been at 19 but I wanted more canopy experience and also wanted to learn more about the sport as a whole before I started. I was glad with my decision. Coco

nicrussell 0 #11 March 18, 2006 24 yrs old, I turned down my first BASE jump in 2000 when I was 20. Trained (as well as I knew how) for a year, bought gear, chickened out. No regrets, the gear was crap. Got my ticket for BD 04, 2 jumps there, as dry as possible for actually making the landing area. No real regrets now 50 jumps later, and counting. Will be 42 this summer and hoping to take a FJC.. ====================Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting - "fcuk me what a ride!"
