mooy 0 #1 March 2, 2004 Im thinking of making a RadioControled-parachute in the size of 1:2 or 1:4. It would be fun to have a "real" pattern for the parachute. with real I mean a pattern from a existing parachute. The thing is that it will probably will be hard to get one from PD or the other. I didnt get it from PdF so I guess the other companys will respond the same. But I will send out a message to them anyway. If that fails. Is there anyone out there with a pattern I can use? Any tips and trix? /Robin robin(a)acc.umu.se
PhreeZone 20 #2 March 2, 2004 How many SqFt are you looking to make the parachute? You might be better to go off of some of the RamAir kite designs if its smaller then 20sq ft.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

Danne 0 #4 March 2, 2004 Check out these guys in sweden: http://w1.312.telia.com/~u31225879/ Look at the videos. They have built a remote controlled skydiver that now has a few base-jumps under his belt :) They can control both front-riser and toggle input, which means he can both turn, flare and do hook-turns. They named him Frank (after Frankenstein I think) and he jumps a Sabre 5 sq/ft replica, made from measuring up an old Sabre 150 :) Pretty cool!
