pope 0 #1 June 13, 2006 Hey all--is there anyone who will be there during this time with a laptop with a CD/DVD burner to clear photos off of full CF cards? I'm pretty sure there isn't a internet connection there decent enough to transfer 1GB+ via ftp, right? SO I'm hoping to be able to dump to CD or DVD (but I am laptop-less). If anyone knows they'll have a laptop there with a CD burner on it, and they'd be willing to let me burn a few CD's, please let me know! Still does sound like a cool idea and worth checking I guess if you're not put off by the negative reviews. What I do when I am away from home, with no computer and only my CF card and iPod, is borrow a laptop from somebody (or use a public PC) and use their HDD as a go-between from my CF card to my iPod. Takes no longer than burning CD's, is easier, and works on any PC with a USB port.
