Wyoming Antenna

Recommended Posts

Would the person that posted about the large Wyoming antenna please PM me? I'll be in the area in about a week. I have limited computer access at the moment so it may take a few days for me to get back to you.

Thanks.

How far from the Wyoming border is this big-A ??? I am on the travel mode the end of this month.

just a guess, sounds like a few jumpers maybe headed up toward 'lost prairie Mo. for some jumping. ,maybe ?

You might want to check in with Oscar. I understand he was jumping an antenna out there with some friends and recently discovered that someone else was jumping it, too. Perhaps it's the same one.

Is this a brand new antenna just built ?
because this is listed as the tallest 'A' in Wyoming it's ONLY like 700 feet.

The LORAN-C transmitter Gillette is a LORAN-C transmission facility near Gillette, Wyoming at 44°00′11″N, 105°37′24″W. Its aerial, a 213.36 m guyed radio mast, is the tallest structure in Wyoming.
