skychic68 0 #1 March 7, 2004 I have an old alti V. Is there a way I can convert it into a pillow/chest mounted altimeter. I'm not very creative when it comes to these projects.Que sera sera
skybeergodd 0 #2 March 7, 2004 Sure....it can be super tacked to a chest pillow and that will hold it on there just fine.
riggerrob 643 #3 March 7, 2004 Back in good-old-days we used to wrap our wrist-mounted altimeters around empty beer cans and slide them onto our chest straps. If you want to look professional, ask Para-Gear - or any other major dealer to sell you a triangular pillow chest mount.
DShiznit 0 #4 March 8, 2004 I have the same set up. I have an extra pillow, dark blue, $5 if you want it.
