The train from Singapore-KL (at least when I rode it) was pretty cheap, because it's primarily intended to bring Malaysian labor into Singapore. Do check into getting a commuter flight (tickets can be purchased in the airport), though. johenrik 0 #8 May 30, 2007 I did the KL-Singapore train too and it was very nice and convenient. I went with 1st class tickets and only paid about 65 malaysian ringits (night train was about double the price, but you got a nice bed and a small breakfast).
