Chance 0 #1 January 25, 2003 Hello Everyone! Just a quick note to my new family. My VERY new family! In two weeks I will be in Auckland taking a 25-jump beginners course, and the instructor there suggested I log in here and learn as much as I can before the course begins. And with that in mind, can anyone suggest which threads here are absolutely essential for the novice to read and familiarize themselves with? Many thanks in advance! skybytch 273 #2 January 25, 2003 Welcome! I'd suggest devouring the Safety and Gear sections of the website before any of the forums. Then check out Safety and Training, Gear and Rigging and the General Skydiving Discussions forums. When your head starts to feel like it's gonna explode, stop by TalkBack for a few laughs. Deleted 0 #17 January 29, 2003 Wow. Learning how to skydive in Auckland!! That's too cool. Like they said read it all until stuff starts running out of your ears. The rest is just gravity. Relaxing your toes helps a lot too!
