LilVixen 0 #1 February 28, 2003 Been lurking for awhile, but thought I should finally say Hi!Started skydiving (at least parachuting) last summer, only got 4 jumps in by the end of the season...my first paper pull was "perfect" (so I was told), but my second not so good (too cold, hand slipped before I was ready). Really looking forward to next season, doing PFF/AFF and going hard. "Fear will make you hestitate. CanuckInUSA 0 #3 February 28, 2003 Welcome to DZ.COM Lil' Vixen. How's the weather treating you in Calgary? We're being snowed in right now in CO and jumping this weekend doesn't look so promising. PS: I have strong ties to Calgary, but I'm enjoying life down here in CO. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

nacmacfeegle 0 #5 February 28, 2003 Not to be confused with "pay per pull" which is something entirely different.... I'm guessing Lilvixen is referring to a dummy ripcord pull, a process in Static line progression, aka practice ripcord pull.. LilVixen 0 #8 February 28, 2003 Hey Sal...yep, Chris Day said it was 'textbook' and I think another jumpmaster said it could have been used in a training video...not bad considering my briefing on how to do it was all of 5 minutes!! I'm looking forward to trying it again...how long til this doggone snow disappears??!!!! "Fear will make you hestitate.
