WeakMindedFool 0 #1 April 11, 2003 HI!!!, Sorry for yelling, just wanted to say hello. I’ve made two tandem jumps and am now ready to mortgage my house and quit my job to spend more time jumping out of airplanes. Is this a normal response or am I having an issue? Seriously this is absolutely one of the coolest things I’ve done, and I’ve attempted to find the coolest things to do. I’ve been watching you all talk for the last month and just wanted to get in. Is it me or is the skydiving community generally nicer than other groups? I’m finding everyone at Skydance (Davis, CA) extra friendly as well as the folks here. Well I’ll stop talking till I’ve got something to say, just wanted to say hi and hope to play with you all someday! covey 0 #2 April 11, 2003 Welcome to our world. I think your response is about par for the course. My wife has started chaining up the tvs and vcrs along with various other appliances. I am even trying to convince her that sleeping on the ground is better for her back then a bed. She just can't see it my way. Believe those who are seeking truth. skymama 37 #3 April 11, 2003 Welcome to the forums! Mark your calendar for The American Boogie at Skydance at the end of June. You'll see some other dz.commers there. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

sarge 0 #11 May 2, 2003 Hey, welcome to the insanity! What your experiencing is perferctly normal... (to me) but buy a tent, cash in your 401 and buy a rig first. The people are cooler but still will end up being 'normal' people, many better, but none-worse as you have ever known... IMHO-- I'm done with the personally meaningful and philosophical sigs!!
