matthunkin 0 #1 July 22, 2003 Hi All, I have just booked myself on to the next AFF at Netheravon UK and I can't wait to get up there! I want to get through as quickly as I can so I can get jumping on my own. Any tips hints about how to get it right first time would be great! freeflyfrog 0 #3 July 22, 2003 Get a good night's sleep before you go to the DZ. Stay away from the alcohol at least one day before your jump. Eat a light meal an hour or two before you jump. Listen to your instructor... like your life depends on it And most of all, relax and have fun!

SkydiveNFlorida 0 #10 July 24, 2003 Stay happy and know that you can do it. Listen well during training, and anything you're unclear on, ask your trainer. Jump out with confidence, just like in your practice, and arch, and relax. On the ride up, close your eyes and envison your jump, and each task you'll perform on it. And, don't worry too much, just relax, and do what you've been trained to. The easier you tell yourself it is, the easier it will be:) I just did AFF1 & 2 last weekend, its awesome! Have a blast! angela.
