Skream 0 #1 August 20, 2003 Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I started last week on SL at the Frankfort, KY DZ with the prodding of a fellow at work here. Made my first jump and loved it (other than looking out that door for the first time.) This week I'm going back and hope to get in a couple DRCP's. My other hobbies include sport kiting, both trick flying and power kites. Now I get to know how the kites feel :)--- Michael Teator Lexington, Kentucky

JeroenPara 0 #6 August 20, 2003 Hey Michael, from a newby to a newby, Welcome to DZ.com. Enjoy the rest of your jumps
Skream 0 #7 August 20, 2003 I think the worst part about climbing out onto the strut was being unsure of my footing. It was compounded by the boots that my DZ makes you wear and not being used to the feel. They were also new and stiff. Maybe I'll buy some nice new supportive boots of my own... winter is coming, I need them anyways :)--- Michael Teator Lexington, Kentucky

skymama 37 #12 August 21, 2003 QuoteWe have other hoobies???? What's a hoobie? Is that some kind of slang word for a boobie hobby? And, why is it that you used that word when you replied to MY post?
