HELLO.....1ST POST

Recommended Posts

Hi All .....I've been reading posts and have seen several refrences to new jumpers getting there "A" lic after a fairly low # of jumps....I'd appreciate a site addy so I can better understand the US lic. system.I just qualified for the 1st Canadian lic. (solo) B|...the "A" lic here requires 25 jumps with 10 min of FF time before u can even start working on it:S..........BTW...things not to do on your 1st "solo" jump.....#1 Dont hold up the load getting permission to go up without a J/M (makes them cranky)...#2 Dont spot the group long looking for the perfect out point (makes them crankier)....#3 Dont de-arch and do a flip through your gear as its opening [:/] (severe bruising WILL occur once you push the bag away and the canopy opens).....on the upside...hehe....the other jumpers who were previously cranky are quite forgiving once they learned you had a malfunction ...hehe....Blue Skies :)

Thx for the addy BB :))......Thx for the welcome and concern Mama..I learned a lesson that jump....1st mal.....after i got out of the high speed mal i still had a prob....my head (helmet) was caught between the left side risers....seeing the canopy above me was good..but the lack of breath was a bit of a concern.......after trying and failing to undo my helmet ,I was able to pull myself up and get my helmet(head) out of the risers...not a easy task on a 280 student canopy (so i was told).....had a stand up landing(very end of the DZ...hehe)...going this weekend (weather permitting).......gota get that "A" lic B|
