Trepel 0 #1 October 30, 2003 Man!, why didn't I try this sooner. I'v jumped 11 times and when i'm not at the DZ i'm day-dreamin' about it or lookin at dive related stuff online. Winter has just rolled in so the jump season has slowed down. Guess i'll get planning for next year. P's

Tripitaka 0 #10 November 2, 2003 I agree, non skydiving friends slowly dwindle away and then you find most of your new friends dont have 9-5 jobs and man its hard to stay motivated to go to work when everyone else is jumping!!
Trepel 0 #11 November 3, 2003 I can see it already happening. My addidtion to this sport has already started to segregate me from some of my friends. My weekends are for packing and jumping and nothing else. this winter Im just going to chill and save some money for a rig. Next winter when it's to cold here i plan to go south and do a dz tour. Oh ya, thanks for the warm reception to your forum. Its nice to know there are other people that seem to be as crazy as my friends are suggesting. Shindagrl 0 #12 November 3, 2003 Yep, non-skydiving friends are thinking, "She's talking about it AGAIN". Every night since my first jump I've had dreams of skydiving. I'm ate up. An audience of 35 head of cattle was not exactly what I had in mind for that last landing.........
KrisFlyZ 0 #13 November 3, 2003 QuoteYep, non-skydiving friends are thinking, "She's talking about it AGAIN". Every night since my first jump I've had dreams of skydiving. I'm ate up. Yeap that's the vibe I am getting from my friends too..... Welcome Trepel. I did my first jump on Oct 5th. Sprained an ankle and I did 5 jumps last weekend. Yahoo!! I look at the blue skies outside and think can I make it to the DZ for one jump today?
sdgregory 0 #14 November 5, 2003 Definitely having a hard time thinking and talking about anything else other than skydiving. Non-Skydiving friends? What non- skydiving friends? I lost them all. And yet, I have no shortage of new friends. Must be something in the air . . . ha ha ha Neither will you.
