jumpdoc 0 #6 December 4, 2003 Five Tandems??? WOW! Learning to jump by yourself can be intimidating since you are 100% responsible for whatever happens in the air, it costs some money, and you get addicted. Tandems are fun, someone else does the work and you enjoy the view and ride. If you decide to learn, once you are an "up jumper," you will have NO DESIRE TO EVER DO A TANDEM AGAIN...at least I don't. Good luck in whatever you decide, but don't force yourself if you're not ready.

Hey Duck, Don't sell yourself short. Jumping out of a plane only five times is no small feat. You are obviously passionate about the sport. If you decide to start AFF, the first time you'll feel very secure after the extensive training and with jumpmasters on each side of you. -Michele"If the Bible has taught us nothing else, and it hasn't, it's that girls should stick to girl's sports such as hot oil wrestling and foxy boxing." - Homer Simpson
SkyRatt 0 #8 December 4, 2003 You won't know unless you try it. If you think tandems are fun wait until you do it on your own... Steve - May you have blue skys, Safe jumps and soft landings
