Man-oh-man!! I just did my first tandem. Oh WOW!!! My DZ was at Spaceland. The folks there are fabulous. The video, the flight, the everything. The owner even checked to see what I thought!! Great people. Now I'm hooked. Scheduled to go again, then again, then again....I need a loan!!!!

Yep, that's how it starts. It hit me like that 6 months ago on my first tandem. I have since finished AFF got my A license and bought a $6,000 rig, jump suite, altimeter, etc.

My best advice is to start robing banks NOW!

I have to tandem at least 1 more time, then I start working towards my solo. I'm just freaked out about the landing still. I can't even park my car right!!!! Maybe I need to tandem forever!!!

if you have a ski boat id suggest you sell it now and when ya qualified and have 20 jumps buy a parachute
or it will be more expensive then owning a sky boat

Ha ha haaa...I just love hearing about people's first tandems...I was out on the DZ today watching a new tandem student...it's so much fun seeing their faces as they're about to land!!! IT's almost as much fun as getting to jump myself!

heheh awesome. more jumpers in texas! i'm from pearland myself, but i jump at SDH, i prefer the small laid back type of dz, but i'll probably go out to spaceland every now and then that i live so close to it now. (used to live up by conroe)
