neily 0 #5 March 15, 2004 My DZ still has rounds available for S/L and freefall jumps, I took that option first, not knowing any different at the time , a parachutes a parachute right. artbel 0 #10 March 15, 2004 Didn't know some DZ's did round jumps anymore. Thought that was history. But still it is true, you should at least had one round above your head. I did after my main (when still in training) malfunctioned & boy was that a ride.You don't need a parachute to jump but YOU DO if want to do it again.
