robertrei 0 #1 April 18, 2004 Second childhood; and what a way to have it! A need for speed! I travel a lot, and like my flying (aircraft) I never visit a state without doing a flight, now I have a new goal of making jumps from a new DZ every trip. ripcords 0 #9 April 20, 2004 QuoteIf I fly into Pennsylvania, I wander how many DZ's can be jumped in one day? How fast is your plane? It looks like you have seven USPA dz's in the state, scattered from one end to the other. Above the Poconos Skydivers/NEPA Ripcords, Inc., 90 miles west of New York City Chambersburg Skydiving Center, Inc., 55 miles south of Harrisburg Kutztown Skydiving Center, 16 miles west of Allentown Maytown Sport Parachute Club, 20 miles east of Harrisburg Pennsylvania Skydiving U. Corp., 25 miles southeast of State College Skydive Pennsylvania, 50 miles north of Pittsburgh The Skydivin' Place, Inc., 40 miles north of Baltimore, Maryland I love flying to a dz, dropping my friends in. Spending some time jumping and then flying back home!

Flyer2Diver 0 #11 April 22, 2004 x/c = cross-country. I've got a private, now building x/c PIC hours to get my instrument (I'm done with most of the instrument skills stuff). Now my only problem is that I have two nice-weather-only, weekend-only hobbies - what to do?!!_______________________________ 30005KT 10SM SKC 23/05 A3006
Flyer2Diver 0 #12 April 22, 2004 QuoteMy first tandum was to be at Mobile after an afternoon of aerobatics ... That's funny - my first tandem was also after I had just done aerobatics (Extra 300L in 'Vegas). I had never planned on jumping, but my acro instructor suggested that I try it. You know the rest of the story _______________________________ 30005KT 10SM SKC 23/05 A3006
