Wiley X SG-1 Goggles

Has anyone tried these Wiley X SG-1 low profile goggles for skydiving? They're somewhat spendy.

Meh.

Just buy Gatorz. Best sunglasses/goggles I've ever owned in my life, beats the hell out of all the different goggles I've had for jumping and beats the hell out of the handful of Oakleys I've owned.

tried a pair (cant wear gatorz because of contacts) the rubber came loose after 10 jumps or so and they always fogged up...

not worth it and rather bug eyed looking IMO..

In my unit(Army) We where all issued thoes goggles, and I thought of using them for skydiving. But the foam between the lenses and your face doesn't make the best seal, on me at least. Besides if I lose them I have to buy them.

I didn't think so either, but I wear gatorz with my contacts all the time now.

It may depend on how closely the conform to your face.

I use daily lenses, and on occassion I lose one, but it isn't an expensive loss.

I also have a pair of wiley's with prescription lenses. That wasn't cheap, but they are also nice.

havent found a pair that didnt let a whole lot of air in...i've lost a few contacts in FF and its not fun...
