OmriMon 0 #4 April 18, 2004 i can't say for sure, i have a TJN odyssey with a hornet 135 in there and it fits just right with even a bit room to spare since hornets have a small pack volume. edited for stupidity
skybytch 273 #5 April 18, 2004 Quote have a TJN odyssey with a sabre 135 in there and it fits just right It should. TJN's were built to fit 135 zp mains. Personally I wouldn't try to stuff a 135 in an NJ... A lot depends on the normal humidity levels where you jump. Life would suck packing a 135 into an NJ in Eloy or Perris; it might not suck as bad in Florida.
USPA 0 #6 April 18, 2004 In my NJ Odyssey, I have an Techno 128 and Contrail 135. Not the easiest packjob, not a fight either. The trouble with skydiving; If you stink at it and continue to jump, you'll die. If you're good at it and continue to jump, you'll see a lot of friends die...
brits17 0 #7 April 19, 2004 A sabre 135 is going to be too tight in my opinion. i've seen it done, but i had a sabre 120 in my nj and that was a snug fit. _______________________ aerialkinetics.com
webracer 0 #8 April 19, 2004 I have had a PD126R and cypres in my NJ I also have had the following mains: Samurai 120 Jedei 120 Samurai 105 Xaos-21 98 Velocity 96 IMO it will fit up to 126 reserve w/ cypres and up to 135 non-airlocked, non-cross-braced ZP main. It will fit up to 103 cross-braced (21 cell) Good luckTroy I am now free to exercise my downward mobility.
RozeAY 0 #9 April 19, 2004 I used to fit a Sabre 135 into an NJ when I started jumping. It was snug but doable. It was an older Sabre though so it didn't pack that big.
gmac324 0 #10 April 19, 2004 Currently have an NJ with a PD126 and cypres 2 and a sabre2 135. It is extremely tight but does fit at a squeeze. I would not recommend it, I am currently looking into getting a new container for my canopies. Graeme

Stacy 0 #12 June 21, 2004 QuoteWell, maybe my Javelin isn't a NJ.... Sounds like a J1 or J2 to me. I dont' think any rigger is crazy enough to pack a 160 reserve into an NJ! __
