silver-smoke 0 #1 August 29, 2004 Hi there, my name's Ariana. On Thursday, I went out with my sweetie; he's working up to his A... got two to go for him! It was an absolutely gorgeous day, and it was my first jump ever. I tried to write it all down, but how do you find words for that? I can still feel the plane beating agains my heels for a moment, and then I leaned my head back, and there was nothing but me, my JM, and the sky. As soon as I touched the ground, I was already ready for more. I got two jumps and my very own pull in, on Thursday. On the 9th, I'm going down with no one strapped to me. So. Can't. Wait. Is this what they mean by "hooked"? Cheers, everyone. I'll be here for a while. ariana (Oh, my JM wasn't really a monkey, at all. He, like everyone else I met at the hangar, was incredibly down to earth, and a great person. I still can't wait to "get him off my back" )

nitro27 0 #6 August 31, 2004 yeah i remember that awesome feeling when I hit the ground on my first jump. No Tandem..this was solo baby! Now all I do is think about skydiving every day. I remember jumping out of the plane and for an instant, I abandoned all my training with regards to "arch" and looked straight down at the ground as I fell. I quickly got my act together within seconds and felt the pure rush of adreneline. There is only one word to describe the experience...WICKED! Yeah I guess you could say I'm hooked now.
