Howdy!

Recommended Posts

I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself to the forums! My name is Tony Sharoian(Shuh-roy-in).
I started jumping a few years ago, about 2 months after the death of my very loved uncle Raymond.
Growing up with a skydiver in the family was exciting to say the least! I looked up to my uncle Ray and had always wanted to jump with him. It was'nt until I saw a picture of me and Ray at his funeral that I realized how bad I wanted to skydive. I remember taking that picture like it was yesterday! Anyway after seeing that picture I knew I had to make a jump for my uncle so I called Skydive Tecumseh and did a static-line jump! Holy shit was I nervous! I felt as though Ray was with me that day watching over me making sure I was safe. Everything went smoothly and I landed without any problems. The feeling of that accomplishment will never be topped! I continued making a jump here and there to my now huge total of 5 static line jumps. My last 2 jumps were in july of 2003 with the late, Great "Pop's". I was very saddened to hear of his death, He made me feel very safe in the air because he was so calm and focused about the whole thing. He even made me laugh about landing loooooong! I'm talking a 5 minute walk through 2 fields to the dz. I have'nt made any jumps since then but I do plan on getting licensed probably next year[:/]It seems pointless to make a jump or 2 a month, so i am waiting until I have the money to finish the training and to buy equipment. I can hardly stand not being able to jump, it's driving me nuts!>:( Hopefully I can get back in the air next year so, until we meet again....

LOL...nope, I see the red numbers just like everyone else. When I'm home or at work, I leave the site running and check in when I have the chance. Now I'm just waiting for dinner to finish cooking and I saw your post. I'm just lucky, I guess! :)

Hey, glad you've gotten to experience static, wait till you freefall the first time!!! Yeah, it can be hard being in the sport without a lot of money, but if you really wanna skydive you'll make it happen somehow. I was gonna do what you did, save up a thousand dollars or so, and get my A, but I'd rather jump now and progress slower than have to wait 2 years after college to jump every weekend. Definitely jump as much as possible, maybe you can become a packer/manifestor to help pay for your jumps. Or find yourself a sugarmama who skydives! :D:D:D

Hey! Thanx for the reply! Sugar mammas are so sweet! Had one for a while but she had a problem with passing out all the time!:S Anyway through hard work and a few side jobs I'm sure i'll persevere! Keep jumping and be SAFE!!!
