Yeah I made it Rome yesterday and today. I did my Level 3 Tandem Progression yesterday and my Level 4 which is my first solo jump today. It was awesome. I told Sandor that you and p-nut said hey. He told me about the proposal. I must say that was creative and unique. Very cool. Congrats! Life is best lived one jump at a time.
beachbumjeff98 0 #28 November 23, 2004 I was just in Chattanooga, driving each day down to ASC, which is near the farm. Its about 2 hours. Maybe even a little less. Depends on the traffic once you get off 75, and once you know the route. Good luck. Also check out ASC...very friendly people, fun atmosphere.

chaoskitty 0 #30 November 24, 2004 Hi Emily.. welcome to the sport.. I saw that you posted "none of your friends skydive.." hehe.. just wait! Soon all of your friends will be skydivers.. Anyway I was like you, I live in Nashville but I did my student training in Georgia. Then I found Tennessee Skydiving Center in Tullahoma, TN and immediately knew I had found a home drop zone. I also go to The Farm quite a bit and I have a ton of friends who jump in Atlanta. I know most of the Knoxville crowd as well. If you are ever feeling lost or loney, just give me a holler and I'll jump with you and introduce you around! Send me a PM sometime.. hope to meet you soon! chaoskitty 0 #31 November 24, 2004 Let me help you out here: QuoteOther Tennessee DZs that may have bigger, better, safer landing areas.... Chattanoga: Skydive Chattanooga, 1-888-305-DIVE(3483) This is ASC marketing a non-existent dz Knoxville: Skydive Knoxville, 1-888-305-DIVE(3483) This is ASC marketing a non-existent dz Skydive Smoky Mountains, 800-528-9968 or 865-577-9798 They're not operating in either Knoxville or Crossville for an undetermined amout of time. They haul tandems at a different spot each weekend, wherever they can. McMinnville: Skydive Tennessee, (615) 529-2971 This was for Marvin's boogie only. Marvin isn't doing his boogies anymore. Memphis: Adventure Skydiving Tennessee, 800-642-JUMP (5867) This is ASC marketing a non-existent dz West Tennessee Skydiving, 901-SKY-DIVE An actual operating DZ.. however about a six hour drive from Knoxville. Nashville: Adventure Skydiving - Skydiving for Tennessee, 1-888-490-DIVE(3483) This is ASC marketing a non-existent dz Nashville Skydiving, 615-672-2855 A cessna dz geared towards hauling tandems and not really friendly to up-jumpers. Skydive Nashville, 888-565-JUMP This is ASC marketing a non-existent dz Paris: Skydive Paris, Inc, 800-789-5867 or 901-642-4433 CLOSED Tullahoma: Tennessee Skydiving Center, 1-800-483-DIVE Tullahoma kicks ass! Very friend group of good skydivers, more than a mile of airport to land on. We usually have a turbine aircraft. If not we turn loads in the cessna and keep things moving. Tennessee Skydiving Center and WTS are really the only 2 dropzones IN Tenn that are worth jumping at, and they're both great.
