First Tandem !!!! Wow!!!!!!

Hello everyone:

I just experienced my first tandem with 4 friends last week in Clewiston Florida. I cant believe the feeling and the joy of flying without an airplane. I am looking forward to working to get an A license in Long Island New York. Any recomendations as to how to go about completing the license would be helpful. I have been thinking about AFB with the first 3 jumps being tandem, so i can get used to the controls. Looking forward to solo freefall,

check out Skydive Long Island. They are closing soon but when they open, its a great place. The employees are awesome and the view of Long Island is amazing. I did my AFF there this last summer. Best summer of my life.

Not enough time left in the year to start the program as they're only open on weekends now. But you can get some tandems in.

What year u graduate Hicksville? I'm from there too.

i graduated 95, I did my tandems around this time last year. Then when the spring came around, they made me do 1 more tandem and then AFF. Lots of fun. Good luck and maybe I'll see u around there.
