Lobb_Himself 0 #1 December 6, 2004 Hi there every one... I am from England, home DZ Hinton. I completed my first Static Line descent last week and absolutely loved it. I wasn't scared of this step. However all my thoughts, day and night, are about Freefall. The prospect petrifies and fascinates me. Does anyone have any words of comfort that may help me sleep at night and continue my training? To be honest it doesn't even matter coz I'm going to do it anyway!!! I just want a good nights sleep.
skymama 37 #2 December 6, 2004 Welcome to the forums! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
lou_lou 0 #3 December 6, 2004 Freefall is brilliant! You can take it seriously or just muck about. It's surprising how much time you have up there. Good luck and have fun!
Lobb_Himself 0 #4 December 6, 2004 I guess it is the initial acceleration which I find daunting. I guess it's in the realm of the unknown at the moment. Incidentally please ignore the picture. I tried to find a monkey but the files were all too big!
popsjumper 2 #5 December 7, 2004 Welcome to our world, friend.....Forget the initial acceleration problem...you won't feel acceleration as such...just a floating sensation with the wind howling in your face!My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Falcon5232, SCS8170, SCSA353, POPS9398, DS239
