quattro4Life 0 #1 January 12, 2005 ok, ok, so its a bit ambitious to think you'll all love or hate me that much, but nevertheless.... hi. havent jumped yet, but hoping to learn this spring/summer. aside from my desire to hurl myself from a perfectly good airplane (and maybe eventually a bridge or a cliff), i snowboard, spend most if not all my money on my car, and take the occasional class or two working towards a degree in mechanical engineering (going on the 10 year program). im 23, stuck in pittsburgh (philly native - go birds)......aaaand thats all i can think of now. want to know more? fire away. man that looks like an introduction at an AA meeting (which im probably also qualified to join). -bI'm not the percent you think survives, I need sanctuary in the pages of this book... ro.is.cute 0 #3 January 12, 2005 Hmmm, you sound like me. Is this place big enough for us both? Hi, my egotistical yankee cousin. What sort of board you ride? Been to Europe (where the real riders play)? Oh, btw, after that intro most will have you down as a troll. Try not to let them get to you, they're tiresome - and one of the girls has a potty mouth (but only in her PM's - you know who you are). However, they do have some redeeming features i.e. they know more about skydiving than either of us. Remember, you're never stuck anywhere. You walk to the airport, buy a ticket, and leave. It's a simple as that.
quattro4Life 0 #4 January 12, 2005 oh trust me im far from egotistical. i was just bored at 6 in the morning and decided to do something other than the typical boring introduction. been to europe, but never ridden there. currently i ride a volant hybrid ds163. also have a burton air 161 (over 10 years old!!) that i keep around foor poor conditions, or jibbing (or until the antique museum offers start rolling in). -bI'm not the percent you think survives, I need sanctuary in the pages of this book... quattro4Life 0 #6 January 14, 2005 thanks for the info. however, turning any attention towards base jumping is at least a couple years off in the distance, so im not thinking too deeply about it right now. just like to get my self out of a few planes first. -bI'm not the percent you think survives, I need sanctuary in the pages of this book... TomAiello 26 #7 January 14, 2005 That's a great attitude, which will keep you alive. Hurling yourself off of cliffs and buildings is definitely not something to rush into.-- Tom Aiello Tom@SnakeRiverBASE.com SnakeRiverBASE.com
